The staff
In the Institute are working now 1 corresponding Member of Russian Academy of Sciences, Dr. of Sci; 1 member of Bashkirian Academy of Sciences, Dr. of Sci; 73 researchers − 12 Doctors and 21 Candidates of Sciences among them. The average number according to the staff list −101. The total number – 142 (including part-timers).
The Institute has post-graduate courses. Some researchers of the Institute teach at the Bashkirian State University, Bashkirian Agrarian and Pedagogical Universities. The Chair of the Geology and Geomorphology at the Department of Geography of the Bashkirian State University has a status of a base Chair for the Institute – a main source of qualified personnel.
